Mission Statement

A non-profit organization comprised of local public servants, who volunteer their time to spread hope, love and encouragement to those in their community affected by cancer.

Who We Are

Shields of Hope is run by local Public Safety professionals in the West Michigan area. The mission is to spread hope, love and encouragement to those in our community affected by cancer.

We will visit those women, children, men and families; to let them know they’re not in the fight alone. We will also continue to develop our relationship with other cancer organizations that are not for profit.

Shields of Hope is now a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the State of Michigan. All donations are now tax deductible.

How It Works

100% of the money stays local in our own community!  We are now Shields of Hope. We made this decision so we can truly keep all our efforts local without having any ties to a national organization.

Shields of Hope is comprised of local public safety officers who are volunteering their time to spread hope, love and encouragement to those victimized by cancer. Programs such as Heroes Helping Heroes, Heroes Holiday & Heroes Visits give these fighters, care-givers and supporting families the extra boost and support needed to get through the difficult times.
