What is Heroes Visits?
Heroes Visits began in 2014 as a way to bring families, friends, and communities together to surround someone fighting cancer with hope, love, and encouragement during one of the toughest times in their life.
Each visit is unique—designed around what makes the cancer fighter most comfortable. Sometimes it’s a simple knock at the door with warm smiles. Other times, it’s a heartfelt show of support from our Shields of Hope team and local heroes, including Police, Firefighters, and EMS personnel.
Whether it’s a quiet visit or a full escort with lights and sirens, we aim to show them they’re not alone—and that they are truly surrounded by heroes.
Volunteers and donors are welcome to join us on deliveries! Dates and times will be shared on our Facebook page.
